Working as a mobile dispatcher for the Manehattan Search & Rescue Corps. could hardly be called glamorous—the hours were long, the work tedious, and the very nature of the job meant flying in every type of inclement weather imaginable. Then again, the Wonderbolts only take the best of the best, and a full storm certification from the Rescue Corp. is a lofty achievement...

Keep dreaming, Rainbow! My goals for this painting were as follows: rain + ponies. Yay! A special thanks to my sister for her technical assistance.

This concept is just phenomenal. Not just in the way you've portrayed it, but how you've described it. The idea of Dash being a glory-seeking hero as her profession is just ingenious... though I imagine that may very well be the reason the Wonderbolts keep looking her over.

I'd think her head should be a little bigger and either her legs shorter or body bigger. Her neck looks a tad long too, but that may be because of the head. Anyway, it looks great and deviate with whatever style you want.

Other than what I mentioned, this is a great picture. The choice for black and white is interesting, and I like how you did...pretty much everything else I didn't mention. Somehow this picture makes Rainbow Dash look less like a character from a kid's show. I think the lack of color and the more rough look of her getup helps with that. Very nice picture.

I have mixed feelings about this one, mostly positive: certain elements worked well, such as the full contrast, environmental effects, and RD's gear. Other things bother me a bit, as you pointed out, but...my goal with all of these is to learn something new each time. And I think that in that regard, this was a success. Thanks for the constructive crit :3
