There were always three navigators aboard the ships of old—none was complete without the other. Wingéd, enchanted, and green-heeled alike, the trio would navigate by the wind, the stars, and the lay of the land...seeing each ship safely to its berth... (the beginning of the Captain's response to a reader question)
The first panel in the most recent Captain Luna update with the typography removed. I'm pleased with how this one came together, despite my bad planning.
[link]Posting it here because I feel it stands alone well.

a special thanks to Lauren Faust & the MLP team!
There aren't many pictures that make it there, since I'm quite picky, but this one has been added to my faves.
Now... Perhaps this is just me mis-reading the image, but I like to read into art. (forgive me if I elaborate too much)
Judging by the gleam in the eyes, Luna leaning on the side of the ship, and the way that her mouth is open and curved *slightly* downward at the edge, I feel like she's either in awe of something, or longing for something.
(sarcastic note) Either that or she's just bored and wants to get off of the ship. LOL!
Reading into art is good! Nearly every image I've posted in my gallery here has some kind of story there for those who wish to spend a little time to look! The stories are yours to make though...I do try to leave it a bit open for the viewer to decide.
Do let me know if I start getting annoying.
(of course, I could just send the comments via notes... up to you.)
